SFP+ Transceivers

The enhanced Small-Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP+) 10-Gigabit Ethernet transceiver is a bidirectional device with a transmitter and receiver. It has a 20-pin connector on the electrical interface and duplex LC connector on the optical interface. Currently, the Cisco Nexus 2000 Series FEX supports the short-range SFP and long-range SFP transceiver. Table 1-12describes the SFP+ transceivers used with the Cisco Nexus 2248PQ FEX.
