Startup Messages

Startup Messages

When you reboot or power on the PIX Firewall, a list of startup messages appear on the console screen.

The list of startup messages is described in the following sections:

•First Messages

•Installing for the First Time or Installing an Activation Key

•After the Prompts

•Writing Different Versions of the Configuration to Flash Memory

•Writing the Same Version of the Configuration to Flash Memory

•Configuration Version Message
