NOTA

Muchos de los canales con números corrientes, tales como 01, 02 y 03, transmiten en una frecuencia y reciben en otra. A esta modalidad de operación se le llama operación dúplex. El resto de los canales con numeración sencilla y todos los canales A, como por ejemplo, el 01A, el 03A y el 04A, transmiten y reciben en una sola frecuencia, a lo que se le denomina operación símplex. El radio se ajusta automáticamente a estas condiciones. Cuando opera en la modalidad símplex, aparece el icono A en la pantalla de cristal líquido (véase la ilustración en la página A2).
