Transmisión de llamadas geográficas

Esta radio no envía llamadas Geográficas. Sólo los grandes buques y las estaciones costeras con radios especialmente equipadas envían llamadas Geográficas.

Recepción de llamadas geográficas

Los radios especialmente equipados transmiten las llamadas geográficas a todas las estaciones dentro de una zona geográfica en particular para avisar de la llamada únicamente a esas estaciones y no a estaciones en las zonas no afectadas. Al estar en una zona a la cual se hace una llamada Geográfica, la radio suena la alarma geográfica y cambia al canal seleccionado por la estación transmisora.

Cuando suena una llamada geográfica:

1.Presione cualquier botón para desactivar la alarma.

2.Lea y anote la información MMSI del buque que envía la llamada, junto con la fecha y hora de la misma.

3.Escuche el mensaje vocal entrante en el canal que la radio selecciona para la llamada Geográfica entrante.

4.Ponga la información de la llamada en el Registro de Llamadas.

5.Presione uno (1) de los siguientes botones para cambiar de la llamada Geográfica recibida al modo de Espera: Botón Canal 16/9 o botón ESC.
