El radio VHF CobraMarine™ está configurado para que se le puedan conectar dispositivos auxiliares de navegación o para mayor conveniencia o versatilidad. Al igual que con la antena, la mejor manera de seleccionar estos dispositivos es con la asistencia de un concesionario experto que le pueda asesorar y guiar. Se han incluido conectores estándar en el frente y en la parte posterior del transceptor.
Cable de comunicaciones NMEA
Su radio CobraMarine tiene un puerto de comunicaciones NMEA que le permite comunicarse con otros equipos electrónicos (Trazador de Cartas con GPS, sonda de profundidad, piloto automático, radio VHF con DSC, radar y ordenador personal mostrando la información en la pantalla). Esta capacidad permite efectuar directamente desde la radio las Interrogaciones de Posición y Peticiones de Posición. Los cables de entrada y salida NMEA pasan por el puerto de comunicaciones NMEA.

Altoparlante externo (no incluido)
Un altoparlante externo puede proporcionar un volumen más alto para escuchar los mensajes que el altoparlante en el transceptor.
Para instalar un altoparlante externo:
1. Conecte el cable positivo del altavoz (+) al cable naranja que viene del mazo de cableado estándar del altavoz/megafonía.
2. Conecte el cable negativo del altavoz (-) al cable negro/blanco que viene del mazo de cableado estándar del altavoz/megafonía.
