Vea el despliegue en el frente de este manual para identificar los diversos controles e indicadores de su radio.

En todo este manual se le indica que presione o que mantenga presionados los botones en el transceptor o en el micrófono/altavoz. Presionar significa pulsar momentáneamente y soltar; presionar continuamente significa mantener oprimido el botón.

Tonos y alarmas

Cuando el radio VHF CobraMarine™ está encendido, usted probablemente escuchará los siguientes tonos y alarmas. El volumen de estos sonidos está controlado por los circuitos en la radio y no está afectado por el volumen ajustado con el pomo Energía ON- OFF/Volumen ni por los botones Volumen Arriba/Abajo.

Tono de confirmación

Un solo tono agudo confirma toda pulsación de botón, con excepción del botón de transmisión. Se puede activar o desactivar. Vea las rutinas de configuración en la página 41.

Tono de error

Tres (3) tonos medianos indican que se presionó un botón no válido (error).

Alarma de auxilio DSC

Alta—a baja potencia—alta—a baja potencia—alta. Pausa, entonces repita. El volumen de esta alarma aumenta al cabo de 10 segundos. Presione cualquier botón para desactivarla.

NOTA

Esta alarma suena únicamente para las llamadas de auxilio DSC a través del canal

70.No suena para las llamadas de voz a través del canal 16, —así que tendrá que escuchar para saber si le están llamando.

Alarma de confirmar auxilio

Alta—a baja potencia. Deje una pausa larga y luego repita. Presione cualquier botón para desactivarla.

Alarma de llamada rutinaria DSC

Alta—pausa—alta—pausa—alta. Deje una pausa larga y luego repita. Presione cualquier botón para desactivarla.

Alarma geográfica DSC

Se escuchan tonos altos-bajos, medianamente agudos, continuos y fuertes (sonido ululante) — cuando se recibe una llamada geográfica. Presione cualquier botón para desactivarla.
