WithKeystroke Tones turned On, your radio will

soundbeeps each time you press a button or

changea setting.

ToTurnKeystroke Tones On or Off:

Whenyou turn On your microTALK®radio for the

firsttime, Keystroke Tones will be On.

1.Press the MODE button until

theKeystroke Tones icon

flasheson the display. The

currentON or OFF setting

isdisplayed.

2.Press the CHANNEL UP or

CHANNELDOWN button to

turnKeystroke Tones On

orOff.

3.When your desired Keystroke Tone Mode

settingis displayed, choose one of the

following:

a.Press the MODE button to enter the new

settingand return to LISTENING MODE.

b.Press the LOCK button to enter the new

settingand return to LISTENING MODE.

c.Do not press any buttons for 15 seconds to

enterthe new setting and return to

LISTENINGMODE.

Thesetting you select will be saved when you

turnyour radio off and on again. When Keystroke

Tonesare On, the keystroke tone icon will

bedisplayed.
