NOTE:Both radios must be tuned to the same
channeland privacy code to communicate.
ToTerminate Baby Monitor Mode:
Chooseone of the following:
a.Press the TALK button and return to
LISTENINGMODE.
b.Press the LOCK button and return to
LISTENINGMODE.
c.Press the MODE button and proceed to
thenext available Mode Function.

Youcan choose between 10 different call tone
settingsto transmit a unique
callalert.
ToChange a Call Tone
Setting:
1.Press the MODE button
untilthe letter “C” and the
currentcall tone number
(1to 10) is displayed. The
currentcall tone will sound
fortwo (2) seconds.
2.Press the CHANNEL UP
orCHANNEL DOWN button
tohear the other call
tonesettings.
"RogerBeep" Confirmation Tone
Yourlistener will hear an audible tone when
yourelease the TALK button. This alerts the other
partythat you have finished talking and that it is
OKfor them to speak. This feature can be turned
Onor Off.
ToTurn“Roger Beep” On or Off:
Whenyou turn On your microTALK®radio for the
firsttime, “Roger Beep” will be On.
1.Press and release the MODE
buttonuntil the “Roger
Beep”icon flashes on the
display.The current On or
Offsetting is displayed.
2.Press the CHANNEL UP or
CHANNELDOWN button to
select“Roger Beep”
Onor Off.
3. When your desired Roger
BeepMode setting is
displayed,choose one
ofthe following:
a.Press the MODE button
toenter the new setting and proceed
toother functions.
b.Press the LOCK button to enter the new
settingand return to LISTENING MODE.
c.Do not press any buttons for 15 seconds to
enterthe new setting and return to
LISTENINGMODE.
3.When your desired call tone setting is
displayed,choose one of the following:
a.Press the MODE button to enter the new
settingand proceed to other functions.
b.Press the LOCK button to enter the new
settingand return to LISTENING MODE.
c.Do not press any buttons for 15 seconds to
enterthe new setting and return to
LISTENINGMODE.
Thesetting you select will be saved when you
turnyour radio off and on again. When the
“RogerBeep” is On, the “Roger Beep” icon
willbe displayed.
