Reading Your Outlook Express eMail Messages

1.Press the Instant eMail ƒ button on the Internet keyboard.

2.Click Inbox. New messages appear in bold type.

3.Double-click the message to display the message text.

4.Click the Close button in the upper right corner of the screen to close the eMail, or press the Delete key on the keyboard to delete the message. You might also choose to move the message to (file it in) a different folder.

Reading Your AOL eMail Messages

1.Press the Instant eMail button on the Internet keyboard.

2.Click the Read icon. New messages appear in bold type.

3.Double-click the message to display the message text.

4.Click the Close button in the upper right corner of the screen to close the eMail, or press the Delete key on the keyboard to delete the message.

You receive eMail messages automatically, even when your computer is shut down! Your ISP stores these messages until you decide to open your eMail program and read them.

Your eMail status light on the keyboard glows when you have unread eMail, even when the system is turned off.

The eMail status light works only with POP3 Internet services such as Compaq.NET powered by MSN. The light does not work with proprietary Internet services such as AOL.
