Understanding digital-sender status

The digital sender has two buttons and three lights to indicate and control the digital-sender status. To interpret the control-panel lights, see the follow table. For information about troubleshooting digital-sender problems, see Problem solving.

Digital Sender status indications

SLEEP button

When in Sleep mode, the green LED on the button is lit. Push this

 

button to enter or end Sleep mode.

START button

The Start LED is green when the device is ready to scan. It is amber

 

if an error exists.

Ready LED

The Ready LED is on when the device is online and able to send

 

data, or flashing when attempting to pause a job.

Data LED

The Data LED is on if the job has been paused. It flashes when the

 

device is transmitting data.

Attention LED

If the red Attention LED is lit or flashing, the device has encountered

 

an error.

Sleep mode

After 60 minutes of inactivity, the device automatically enters Sleep mode. In Sleep mode, many of the digital sender's processes are shut down to conserve energy. The user can press any button on the control panel to bring the device out of Sleep mode. The device takes approximately 30 seconds to warm up and return to Ready mode.
