4 GB PC2-5300 Double Data Rate 2 (DDR2) SDRAM (Registered SDRAM) memory running at 667 MHz or

2 GB PC2-5300 Double Data Rate 2 (DDR2) SDRAM (Registered SDRAM) memory running at 667 MHz with Advanced ECC

At least one pair of DIMMs must be installed in slots 1A and 2A to operate the server. Observe the following DIMM installation guidelines to add additional memory to the server:

DIMMs must be installed in pairs.

DIMM installed on the same memory bank must have the same part number.

DIMMs installed in different banks can be of different sizes.

DIMMs must be installed in decreasing capacity with the largest DIMMs installed in the banks furthest away from each processor.

DIMM banks are active only when the corresponding processor socket is populated.

NOTE: If all four banks on a memory node are populated, the maximum memory clock speed will be 533 MHz. If two or fewer banks on a memory node are populated, the maximum memory clock speed will be 667 MHz.
