5. Using and Setting up the UtilitySoftware
This chapter describes the basic settings required for using the
FX-DS110-PC and how to use and set up the utility software.

Installing and uninstalling the utility software

Installation

Follow the procedure below to install the utility software for the
FLEXLAN-DS series. Terminate all the applications running and
prepare the floppy disk supplied with this product.
(1) Insert the floppy disk into drive A, then double-click on “My
Computer”. This procedure assumes the floppy disk drive as
drive A.
(2) Double-click on the “3.5-inch FD” icon and then the
“setup.exe” icon. The InstallShield wizard will be invoked.
(3) Click on the “Next” button.
(4) The “Choose Destination Location” dialog box appears. By
default, the utility software is installed in the following
directory.
C:\Program Files\wlan\rssi
Click on the “Next” button to install the utility software in the
default directory.
To install the utility software in any other directory, click on
the “Browse” button, specify the desired install directory, then
click on the “Next” button.
The wizard starts copying files.
(5) Click on the OK button.
(6) You have now finished installing the utility software.
