GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this snow thrower does not cover items that have been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To re-
ceive full value from the warranty, the op- erator must maintain the snow thrower as
instructed in this manual.
Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to properly maintain your snow thrower.
Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emission control devices and systems can be performed by any
flywheel with a hammer or a
_b WARNING: Do not strike the hard opject. If done, the fly-
wheel can shatter during operation. Do not tamper with the governor spring, links or other parts to in- crease engine speed.
AFTER EACH USE
•Run the machine to clear the auger of snow.
•To prevent freezing of the auger or controls, remove all snow and slush from the snow thrower.
•Check for any loose or damaged parts.
•Tighten any loose fasteners.
•Check and maintain the auger.
•Check controls to make sure they are functioning properly.
•If any parts are worn or damaged, replace immediately.
