14. Replace Spark Plug
Replace spark plug at the beginning of each mowing season or every 100 hours, whichever comes first Gap should be set a 0..030 inch (Fig 21).,
15. Adjust Valves on Engine
After approximately 200 hours of operation, the engine
valves will require adiustmenL it is suggested that a Sears
Service.Centerdo this work. Correct settings are:

BE SURE THERE ARE NO FUEL LINE LEAKS AND THAT HOSE CLAMPS ARE PROPERLY INSTALLED.
If fuel filteris clogged, obstructingfuel flow to carburetor, re- placement is required.
