When drillinghard smoothsurfacesuse a center
punchto mark desired hole location. Thiswill prevent
thedrill bit fi'omslippingoff center as the hole is
started,However, the low speed feature allows
startingholeswithoutcenter punchingif desired. To
accomplishthis.simplyoperate your drillat a low
speed untilthe hole is started.
The material to be drilledshouldbe secured In a vise
orwith clamps to keep it from turningas the drill bit
rotates.
Hold tool firmly and place the bit at the point to be
drilled. Depress theswitch trigger to start tool
Move the drillbit into the workpiece applying only
enough pressure to k_eepthe bit cuffing. Do not force
orapply side pressure to elongate ahole.

directionofrotation and could cause loss of
controlwhenbreaking throughmaterial. If not
prepared,this loss of cOntrolcan result in

When drilling metals, use alight oil on the drill bit to
keep it from overheating. The oil wiff prolong the life of
the bit and increase the drilling action,
If the bitJams in workplace or if the drill stalls, release
switch trigger immediately, Remove the bit from the
workpiece end determine the reason for jamming.
