CHARGING BA'I-FERY PACK
The battery pack for thistool has been shippedIna
lowcharge conditionto prevent possibleproblems.
Therefore, you shouldcharge Itovernightprior to use.
Note: Batteries willnot reach full charge the first time
theyere charged. Allowseveral cycles (drilling
followedby recharging) for themto become fully
charged.
TO CHARGE
• Charge battery pack only with the charger and
charging stand provided.
•Make sure power supply isnormal house
voltage, 120 volts, 80 Hz, AC only.
•Connect charger topower supply.
•Placebattery pack incharging stand. Alignraised
ribon batterypack withgroove in charging stand.
See Figure 1.
•Pressclown on battery packto besure contacts on
batterypack engage properlywithcontacts in
chargingstand.
•When properly cOnnected,the red lighton charging
standwill turn on.
•Note: ffcha_:jerdoes not chargebatterypeck,return
batterypack,chargerand chargingstandto your
nearestSears RepoJrCenterforelectrioalcheck,
•Afternormal usage, aminimum chargetime of 10
hoursIs required to recharge a completely
dischargedtool.
•The battery pack will become slightly warm to the
touch whilecharging. This is normal and does not
indicatea problem.
•Do not place chargerIn an ares of eXtreme heat or
cold, It willwork best atnormal room temperature.
•When batteriesbecomefully charged,unplug
chargerfrom power supply.
