RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION (Continued)

NEVER USE IN AN EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERE. Normal sparking of the motor could ignite flam- mable liquids, gases, or fumes.

IIKEEP HANDLES DRY, CLEAN, AND FREE

FROM OIL AND GREASE. Always Use a clean cloth when cleaning. Never use brake fluids,

gasoline, petroleum-based productsor any strong solvents to clean yourtool.

STAY ALERT. Watch whet you are doing and use common sense. Do not operate tool when you are tired. Do not rush.

M CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Beforefurther use of

the tool, a guard or other part that Is damaged should be carefully checked to determine that itwill operate properly and perform its intendedfunction. Check for alignment of moving parts, bindingof moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting,and any other conditionsthat may affect its operation.

A guard or other part that is damaged shouldbe properly repaired or replaced by an authorized service center unless indicated elsewhere in this instructionmanual.

DO NOT USE TOOL IF SWITCH DOES NOT TURN IT ON AND OFF. Have defective switches replaced by an authorized service center.

operate tool while under the influenceof drugs, eTcehof,or any medication.

CHUCK TO BECOME ELECTRICALLY LIVE. 0o not touch metal parts when drilling; grasp only the Insulmed handle(s) or plastic housing when using this tool. Make sure hidden electrical wiring, water

pipes, and mechanical hazards are not in the path of the bit when ddlling Into a wall.
