4.1 Amplifier Control/Monitoring

System Architect® software can control and monitor MA-i amplifiers via a network connec- tion. This section explains various screens in the software. We recommend checking for the latest HiQnet System Architect® software at http://hiqnet. harmanpro.com.

See Figure 4.1. This window is on the left side of the main panel. It controls the Input level, and monitors various input and output levels and indicators.

Input Meter: Displays the input signal level in dBFS.

Output Meter: Indicates output signal level from 0 dB to –40 dB below full voltage output.

Input Clip: Turns red when the input stage is being clipped.

Output Clip (red): Indicates clip events reported by the amplifier.

Limit LED: Turns red when gain reduction occurs

anywhere in the amplifier: input compressor, output limiters or thermal limiting.

Ready LED: Lights when amplifier is ready to pass a signal.

Temp LED: Indicates the temperature of the amplifi er.

Green = normal

Yellow = 80% of maximum allowable temperature Red = 95% or more of maximum allowable

temperature.

Load LED: Displays the status of the load monitoring:

Green = normal Yellow = too low Red = too high.

Output Mute: Turns the output signal on or off.

Output Faders: These control the output level from +20 dB to –100 dB gain.

4 Contrôle par programme

4.1Commande/Surveillance de l’amplificateur

Le logiciel de conception de système peut commander et surveiller les amplifi cateurs MA-I par une connexion réseau. Cette section explique les différents écrans du logiciel. Nous vous recommandons de vérifi er sur le site http://hiqnet. harmanpro.com que vous possédez la dernière version du logiciel de conception de système.

Reportez-vous à la Figure 4.1. Cette fenêtre se situe sur le côté gauche du panneau principal. Il commande le niveau d’Entrée et surveille les différents niveaux d’entrée et de sortie ainsi que les indicateurs.

Appareil de mesure d’entrée : Il affi che le niveau de signal d’entrée dans dBFS.

Appareil de mesure de sortie : Il indique le niveau de signal de sortie entre 0 dB et –40 dB sous la sortie de pleine tension.

Ecrêtage d’entrée : Il devient rouge lorsque l’étage d’entrée est écrêté.

Ecrêtage de sortie (rouge) : Il indique les évènements d’écrêtage reportés par l’amplifi cateur.

DEL de limite : Elle devient rouge en cas de détection de réduction de gain dans l’amplifi cateur. Compresseur d’entrée, limiteurs de sortie ou limiteur thermique.

DEL prêt : Elle s’allume lorsque l’amplificateur est prêt à émettre un signal.

DEL de température : Indique la température de l’amplifi cateur.

Vert = normal

Jaune = 80% de la température maximale autorisée

Rouge = 95% ou plus de la température maximale autorisée.

DEL de charge : Affi che le statut du délestage de charge :

Vert = normal Jaune = trop faible Rouge = trop élevé.

Clé de sourdine de sortie : Met le signal de sortie sous tension ou hors tension.

Atténuateurs de sortie : Ces éléments contrôlent le niveau de sortie entre le gain +20 dB et –100dB.
