3 Operation

3.5Back Panel Controls, Indicators and Connectors

A. Power Cord Connector: Detachable 20 amp IEC inlet. Cord locks with supplied cord reten- tion clip. Voltage range is indicated above IEC inlet.

B: Grille.

C. Reset Switch/Circuit Breaker: If the cur- rent draw of the amplifier exceeds safe limits, this breaker automatically disconnects the power supply from the AC mains. The switch resets the circuit breaker.

D. Analog Input Connectors: A 3-pin female XLR connector for each channel.

E. Input Sensitivity Switch: Three-position switch providing 1.4V, 32 dB, and 25 dB set- tings for both channels.

F. Analog Loop Thru Connectors: Two male XLR passive analog loop through.

G. Mode Switch/Indicator: Sets amplifier to Stereo, Bridge, or Input Y mode. OFF=Stereo, YEL=Bridge, GRN=Y. Press for more than 2 seconds to change the setting.

H. Preset Indicator: Green/yellow LED flashes to signal the number of the current preset. LED is green if current preset is active, or is yellow if current preset is modified.

I. Data Indicator: Yellow LED indicates net- work data activity. Data indicator flashes only when the amplifier is polled for data, or is polled to see whether it is online.

J. Network Connector: This Ethercon con- nector accepts an RJ-45 connector for HiQnet networking. Next to the connector are a yellow LINK ACT indicator that shows network activ- ity, and a green 100Mb indicator that shows a 100Mb network connection. Warning: Only connect network connectors to networks that remain inside the building. Do not connect to networks that go outside the building

K. Output Connectors: Two high-current, 50A Neutrik® Speakon® NL4MLP (mates with NL4FC or NL4), one per channel. Ch 1 Speakon® is wired with Ch 1 and Ch 2 outputs for use with single 4-conductor cable.

L. Output Connectors: Two pairs of high-cur- rent, 60A color-coded 5-way binding posts (for banana plugs, spade lugs or bare wire).

3 Utilisation

A. Connecteur du cordon d’alimentation : Entrée CEI 20 amp débrochable. Le cordon se fi xe à l’aide du clip de retenue du cordon fourni. La plage de tension est indiquée au- dessus de l’entrée CEI.

B : Grille.

C. Rupteur de retour à la position initiale/Disjoncteur

:Si l’appel de courant de l’amplifi cateur dépasse les limites de sécurité, ce disjoncteur déconnecte automatiquement l’alimentation électrique du secteur. L’interrupteur réinitialise le disjoncteur.

D. Connecteurs d’entrée analogiques : Connecteur XLR femelle à 3 broches pour chaque canal.

E. Sélecteur de sensibilité d’entrée: Interrupteur à trois positions permettant des réglages 1,4V, 32dB et 25dB pour les deux canaux.

F. Connecteurs thru boucle analogique : Deux connecteurs thru XLR mâles boucle analogique passive.

G. Bouton combiné/Indicateur : Réglage de l’amplificateur sur le mode Stéréo, Pont ou Y Entrée. OFF = Stéréo, YEL (jaune) = Pont, GRN (vert) = Y. Pression de plus de 2 secondes pour changer le réglage.

H. Indicateur de préréglage : La DEL verte/jaune clignote pour signaler le nombre des préréglages actuels. La DEL est verte si le préréglage actuel est actif ou jaune si le préréglage actuel est modifi é.

I. Indicateur de données : La DEL jaune indique l’activité des données du réseau. L’indicateur de données ne clignote que lorsque l’amplifi cateur est invité à émettre des données ou s’il est invité à confi rmer s’il est en ligne.

J. Connecteur de réseau : Ce connecteur Ethercom accepte un connecteur RJ-45 pour le réseautage HiQnet Un indicateur LINK ACT jaune, situé à proximité du connecteur, illustre l’activité du réseau et un indicateur 100Mb vert illustre une connexion réseau de 100Mb. Attention: Ne pas connecter aux réseaux à l’extérieur du bâtiment.

K. Connecteurs de sortie : Deux connecteurs haute densité, 50A Neutrik® Speakon® NL4MLP (s’accouple au NL4FC ou au NL4), un par canal. Le Canal 1 Speakon® est raccordé aux sorties Canal 1 et Canal 2 pour une utilisation avec un câble unique 4 conducteurs.

L. Connecteurs de sortie : Deux paires de bornes de connexion 5 voies, haute densité, 60A, à codes couleur (pour les fi ches banane, les cosses à fourche ou les fils nus).
