2Using and Charging the Battery Pack
Charge the Battery Pack before using it for the first time. Normally, the Battery Pack can be charged around 500 times. With normal daily use, your Battery Pack can last for 1.5 years. When fully charged, the Battery Pack can operate an estimated 3 ~ 4 hours of continuous playback. The actual battery life depends on how the player is used.

Plug the Power Adapter into the Battery DC IN 10 V Jack on the Left Side of the Battery Pack. Plug the other end of the Power Cord into a household wall Power Outlet.
2Attaching the Battery Pack.
Turn the player upside down on a smooth clean surface that will not scratch the player. Remove the Battery Terminal Protector first from the player if installed. When battery is not attached to player, it is recommended that the terminal protect be installed to prevent any potential electrical short circuit with the player. Aline and insert the Battery 3 guides on the battery with slots on the player.
3Lock Battery Pack to the player.
Keep one hand on the player to prevent the player from moving. Gently slide the Battery Pack toward to front of the player until the battery locks into place.

We recommend that you charge the Battery Pack only when the battery status becomes less than 25%. Unnecessary charging of the battery will reduce Battery Pack service life. When the Battery Pack is being charged, the Battery Indicator is illuminated Red. After charging is completely, the Red Light Indicator turns Green. The Charging time is normally between 3 ~ 4 hours. Do not charge the Battery Pack more than 8 hours. This could reduce the Battery Pack service life, as well.

Use the table to the left as a guide. When the battery power is in ALMOST OUT OF POWER Status or the unit’s front panel power indicator starts to blink, please charge your Battery Pack right away. At this stage, the Battery Pack has about 10 minutes of charge left. (See pg 37)
