Replacing a Cooling Fan Module
NOTE: The procedure for installing each individual fan is the same.

Ensure that the fan handle is upright and lower the fan into its retention base unt il the fan is fully seated.
Then lower the fan handle until it sna ps into place. See Figure 3-4.

Attach the fan module co nnectors.

If you removed the memory cooling shro ud to access the fan modules, replace the shrou d. See "Replacing
the Memory Cooling Shroud" on page 53.

Close the system. See "Opening and Closing the System" on pag e 46.
