BEMÆRK: Computeren understøtter ECC og registreret hukommelse.

Hukommelsesmoduler skal installeres i par med tilpasset størrelse, hastighed og rank (1R er enkelt rank og 2R er dobbelt rank). Se på etiketten på hukommelsesmodulet for at afgøre dens størrelse, hastighedsrank og organisation. Sørg for at etiketterne på hukommelsesmodulerne passer sammen.

Eksempel: 256MB 1Rx8 PC2-3200R-333-10:

Størrelse = 256 MB

Hastighed = 3200

Rank = 1R

Organisation = x8

Hukommelsesmoduler kan være enkelt rank (1R) eller dobbelt rank (2R) og skal installeres i følgende rækkefølge:

Hukommelsesmodulet med den højeste rank i DIMM_1 og DIMM_2

Hukommelsesmoduler med lige eller lavere rank i DIMM_3 og DIMM_4

Hukommelsesmoduler med enkelt rankt (1R) i DIMM_5 og DIMM_6

Hvis kun to hukommelsesmoduler er installeret, skal de installeres i DIMM_1 og DIMM_2. Disse konnektorer kan findes på kortets yderste kant.

Hukommelsesmoduler bør installeres i følgende rækkefølge: konnektorer DIMM_1 og DIMM_2, DIMM_3 og DIMM_4 og derefter DIMM_5 og DIMM_6.

Hvis dobbelt-rank moduler installeres i DIMM_3 og DIMM_4, så kan DIMM_5 og DIMM_6 ikke bruges.

Dobbelt-rank hukommelsesmoduler understøttes ikke i DIMM_5 og DIMM_6.
