Replacing the Top I/O Panel

1Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 13.

2Align the screw holes on the top I/O panel with the screw holes on the top panel.

3Replace the two screws that secure the top I/O panel to the top panel.

4Connect the top I/O panel cables to the system board connectors, F_USB3 and F_AUDIO1 (see "System Board Components" on page 10).

5Replace the top cover (see "Replacing the Top Cover" on page 59).

6Replace the optical drive (see "Replacing the Optical Drive" on page 51).

7Replace the front bezel (see "Replacing the Front Bezel" on page 29).

8Replace the computer cover (see "Replacing the Computer Cover" on page 18).

9Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.
