Customizing Your Dell Streak 7 Tablet

You can customize your device using the options available in the

Settings application.

Power Management Settings

1Touch the Home button → Apps button →

Settings → Power Management.

2Select a desired timeout duration from the Timeout menu that appears.

NOTE: To conserve battery charge, the device automatically disconnects from a data network when the screen is turned off, based on the timeout duration you set. The device reconnects to the data network automatically when you turn on the screen.

3Select from the following settings:

Standard Power Save -	Data connectivity is disabled only when the
Recommended	screen is turned off between the start time and
	end time that you define in this option.
	1 Touch this option to select it.
	2 Set the start time and end time.
Aggressive Power Save	When the screen is turned off, data connectivity
	is always disabled after the timeout you define in
	this option.
	1 Touch this option to select it.
	2 Touch the desired timeout period to select it.
None	If you select this option, data connectivity will not
	be disabled when the screen is turned off.
