To read e-mails

•When you receive a new e-mail in the Gmail application, the e-

mail icon appears in the notifications area of the system bar to alert you of a new e-mail. Touch the icon to open the new e-mail to view it in the Gmail application.

•While in the inbox or in any other folder, scroll the e-mail threads on the screen, and then touch an e-mail thread to view the e- mails inside.
