Install the new SFP transceiver into the interface port. Ensure that the
transceiver is properly seated.

Reconnect the fiber optic cable.

View the FCIN speed LEDs and the Physical Disk Channel speed LEDs.
Based on the LED status, perform one of these actions:
At least one of the FCIN LEDs for each port is on. Go to step11.
Both the FCIN LEDs on an MD storage array RAID controller module
enclosure for a particular port are off.
Check that the SFP transceiver is installed correctly. Reinstall the SFP
transceiver if necessary.
NOTE: If the storage array is not in an Optimal status, click the Recovery Guru
toolbar button in the Array Management Window to determine if any other
actions are required.

If the problem is resolved, go to step11. If the problem persists, see
"Getting Help" on page 309.

Create, save, and print a new storage array profile.
