Restart and Reset Operations

If a fault occurs during use of the ASD-51W, for example, if you cannot connect to a network although the network settings are correct, or the iPod cannot be detected or the remote control unit does not work, you may be able to resolve the problem by taking the following action.

nTurn the power operation switch on the ASD-51W’s side panel to “OFF”, and after about 30 seconds turn the power operation switch to “ON/STANDBY”. (restart operation)

nReset the ASD-51W

Use the reset operation when you want to restore the default settings or when the restart operation has failed to resolve a fault.

NOTE

When you reset the ASD-51W, your settings will be returned to the default values. Please be aware that resetting the ASD-51W will erase all your settings, including the stations registered in your Favourites and your Recently Played list.
