Echo/loop Parameter Setting1Turning echo/loop on.q Press the ECHO/LOOP button.

The PARAMETERS knob lights and the parameters setting screen is displayed.

b When echo/loop indicator is solid (not blinking), press the ECHO/ LOOP button to set the parameter selection mode again.

2Setting the echo/loop parameters. w Turn either the PARAMETERSknob or the Scratch disc to set the echo/loop parameters.

b The echo feedback level can be set with the scratch disc, the echo delay time with the

PARAMETERS knob.

3Performing echo/loop playback.

When the feedback level is set to the maximum, echo/loop playback begins with the specified delay time.

b During echo/loop playback, it is possible to search for tracks and switch between the file play mode and playlist play mode.

Loop fade-out:

In the parameter selection mode, when the back cue or next track mode is turned on during echo/loop playback, the parameter selection mode is turned off.

When a new track is selected and playback is started, echo/loop playback fades out and stops. This makes for a smooth transition between echo/loop playback and normal playback.

4e Press the PARAMETERS knob or the JOG MODE button to

turn off the parameters setting screen.5r Press the ECHO/LOOP button while the flanger parameters setting screen isdisplayed.

When the FLANGER button is pressed, the FLANGER button lights and the parameters setting screen is displayed.

b When the flanger indicator is solid (not blinking), press the FLANGER button to set the flanger parameter selection mode

again.

2y Turn either the PARAMETERS knob or the Scratch disc to set

the flanger parameters.

The FLANGER button and PARAMETERS button flash while the parameters are

being set.

bThe FLANGER Depth can be set with the Scratch disc, while the FLANGER Delay Time can be set with the PARAMETERS knob.
