QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
FOR THE DIMPLEX ELECTRIC FIREPLACE
1)Prior to installation, plug your unit into a convenient outlet to verify the following:
•Are the circuit breakers for the outlet on?
•Is the Flame Brightness Control turned fully to the right?
•Are the lightbulbs in your firebox loose? (to check, follow the instructions for replacing the light bulbs on the front of the unit. Also check the 2 light bulbs at the top of your firebox).
2)The heater on your fireplace may emit a slight, harmless odor when first used. This odor is a normal condition caused by the initial heating of internal heater parts and will not occur again.
3)If your heater does not emit heat, ensure the switch is on and the thermostat is turned fully to the right. If this does not work, switch the unit off for 5 minutes and try again. Consult page 5 of your Practical User's Guide for further information.
