Segment Uplink

In the illustration below, two Ethernet switches (with PCs, print server, and local server attached) are connected via 1000-FX or 10/100/1000Base-TX cable. All the devices in this network can communicate with each other through the switches. Connecting servers to the switch allows other users to access the data on server.
