1. Slide the power swit ch t o the “O N” posit io n, and a w elcom e s cre en will gr eet the user .
2. After the welcome s cre e n is display e d the W i-Fi de te cto r w ill auto mat ical ly e nter
scanning mode to detect Wi-Fi signals.
In scanning mode the display will display the t ota l n umber of b oth non- encr ypt ed a nd
encrypted Wi-Fi signals detected.
3. O nce scanning mode is complete, the detect or will e nter its sta ndard d isplay mode.
The detector automatically sorts the signals by the following criteria:
Non-encrypted AP’s according to signal strength followed by encrypted AP’s according
to signal strength.
