1Important: The new appliance may only be installed and connected up by an approved installer.

Please observe this instruction, otherwise the guarantee will not cover any damage that may occur.

The veneer or plastic coverings on kitchen units around the appliance must be bonded with heat resistant adhesive (100 °C). If plastic cover- ings or the adhesive are not sufficiently temperature resistant, then the covering may distort or come loose.

In respect of fire protection, the appliance corresponds to type Y (EN 60335-2-6). Only this type of appliance may built into positions with a high cupboard or wall on one side.

The cooking surface must have a heat protective base permanently fixed in position. The distance from the base to the underside of the cooking surface must be at least 50 mm. The edges of the cut out must be coated with a water-proof material. The cooking surface must be built-in such that the TOUCH CONTROL control panel is at the front (see Fig.).
