Quick Settings (sof ten a nd me lt) au tomatically
compute the correct heating time and microwave
power level for softening and melting foods shown
in the chart.
• Suppose you want to melt 1 square of chocolate.
Procedure
Step Press
1. Press melt pad once. melt
2. Select desired food by
pressing number pad.
Ex: Press number 2 for
chocolate.

3. Repeat pressing sa me
number pad to select
quantity. Ex: Press
number 2 two more
times for 1 square.

Food Amount Procedure
Soften
1. Ice Cream 1 pint
1/2 gallon
DO NOT COVER.
After pressing soften, press nu mber 1 two times for 1 pint.
After pressing soften, press num ber 1 three times for 1/2 gallon.
2. Cream Cheese 3 oz
8 oz
After pressing soften, press nu mber 2 two times for 3 oz.
After pressing soften, press num ber 2 three times for 8 oz.
Melt
1. Butter 2 tbsp
1/2 cup
Use a Pyrex measuring cup. Cover with plastic wrap.
After pressing melt, press num ber 1 two times for 2 tbsp.
After pressing melt, press numb er 1 three times for 1/2 cup.
2. Chocolate 1 cup chips
1 square
After pressing melt, press num ber 2 two times for 1 cup chips.
After pressing melt, press numb er 2 three times for 1 square.
NOTES
1. To soften or melt other food or foods except
the quantity listed in the Quick settings Chart,
use manual operation.
