2. Insert the hooks into the rectangular through holes until they
clip into place.
Transporting the Scanner
If you are transporting the scanner a significant distance or storing
it for an extended period, follow the steps below to secure the
carriage.
1. Turn on the scanner and wait until the carriage moves to the
home position (position nearest the cover hinges). When the
operate light turns green, turn off the scanner.
2. Tu rn the transportation lock to the locked posit ion to secure
the carriage.
