The type of image you’re scanning determines what input setting you select in your software.

OPEN YOUR HOST APPLICATION This is the software application where you’ll import your scanned image. You’ll start the scanner’s software from within these or other applications.

SELECT YOUR SCANNER SOURCE This is the scanner driver you’re using. Your scanner comes with EPSON TWAIN. You start EPSON TWAIN from within your application.
