Double-click a video clip to open a window from
which you can play back the clip.
Note:
❏If a message informs you that the camera is not
connected properly, make sure that the serial or USB
port is working, and that the port selected on the Setup
menu matches the port that you are using. To change
the Port setting, see “Changing the communication
port” on page 2-20.
❏You can also download images using EPSON Auto
Downloader. For more information, see “Using
EPSON Auto Downloader” on page 3-12.
❏To play back video clips, you must have Quick Time
3.0 or later installed in your computer.
Transferring files to your computer
There are two ways to transfer or save your photos
and video clips on your computer using EPSON
Photo!3. You can click the Save To Folder button to
create JPEG, TIFF, MOV, or WAV files that are named
automatically. Or you can click the Export Photos
button to name the image files yourself and save them
as JPEG, BMP, PCX, or PICT (for Macintosh only) files.

Using the Save To Folder button

Files saved with the Save To Folder button are named
automatically. For example, the ninth file saved is
called EPSN0009. The first four letters are EPSN,
followed by four digits which indicate the order in
which the files were saved. Image files are saved using
the JPG extension, or using the TIF extension if your
camera is configured to take uncompressed images.
Audio recording files are saved using the WAV
extension, and video clip files use the MOV extension.
Follow the steps below to save files to your computer
using the Save To Folder button.
1. Open EPSON Photo!3. See “Accessing EPSON
Photo!3” on page 2-2 for instructions.
2. From the Select Camera Directory list box, select
EPSON to save photos, or Video Clip to save
video clips.
