Note:
You cannot insert video clip files or audio recording files
using this button.
1. Make sure that EPSON Photo!3 is open.
2. Start your word processor or other application,
and open the document or file in which you want
to use the photo.
3. For OLE2-compliant applications, position the
cursor where you want to insert the photo, choose
Object from the Insert menu, and double-click
EPSON Photo!3 Object in the Object Type list.
For TWAIN-compliant applications, select
EPSON Photo!3 TWAIN (or Photo!3 TWAIN for
Macintosh) as the TWAIN data source on the File
menu, then acquire the image.
Note:
The procedure for accessing EPSON Photo!3 from
TWAIN- or OLE2-compliant applications may vary,
depending on your software. Please refer to your
software documentation for detailed instructions.
4. On the EPSON Photo!3 Camera menu, click the
thumbnail of the image that you want to use, then
click the Get Photo (or Get Photos) button. A
copy of the photo is inserted into the open
document.
Note:
If you want to improve the image quality of your
photos, select the PhotoEnhance check box before
clicking Get Photo (or Get Photos). However, this
will increase the transfer time. This feature only works
for photos taken with an EPSON camera.
Using drag-and-drop (Windows only)Below is a typical procedure for transferring a photo
to any Windows application that supports OLE2
(object linking and embedding).
1. Make sure that EPSON Photo!3 is open.
2. Start your word processor or other application
and open the document or file in which you want
to use the photo.
3. Organize your desktop so that both the
application window and the EPSON Photo!3
window can be seen.
