You can also quit the live preview by clicking the
Stop button while using the live preview.
Note:
❏The live preview feature consumes a lot of battery
power, so it is recommended that you use the
optional AC adapter while using this feature. For
more information on using the AC adapter, see the
user’s guide for your camera.
❏You cannot turn off the camera while you are
using the live preview feature. Click the Stop
button to turn off the live preview, then turn off
the camera.
4. Click the Take a Picture button on the Controls
menu to take a photo. The green indicator light on
the camera flashes, then turns off.
5. When the green indicator light stops flashing and
comes on, the image is saved and you are able to
take another picture.
Using the Setup Menu
Click the Setup tab to open the Setup menu. This
menu allows you to make computer connection
settings and a few camera settings, such as the date
and time. You can also test the connection between
your camera and the computer and check the camera
status from this menu.
Note:
The Setup menu displays information about your own
camera. The information show in the illustration above is
used only as an example.
