Appendix B

Fax/Modem

The internal fax/modem that may be installed in your ActionNote

computer supports the latest transfer standards and protocols and

provides advanced error correction capabilities. This appendix provides basic information about the fax/modem and summarizes its built-in set of commands.

Your fax/modem also comes with BitCom communication software and WinFax LITE fax transmission software. Normally, you will use these software program to control your fax/modem. See the BitCom and WinFax LITE software manuals for more information about how to use them.

Note

If your computer did not come with an internal fax/modem,

and you purchased one later, you must have an Authorized

EPSON Servicer install it for you.
