Setting Up the ] Start Button in Smart Panel

You can configure your ] Start button to automatically scan to any of the applications in the EPSON Smart Panel.

Follow these steps:

1.Open EPSON Smart Panel:

In Windows, click the Smart Panel icon on the Windows taskbar.

On a Macintosh, click the Apple menu icon, then click EPSON SMART PANEL.

2.You see the EPSON Smart Panel window shown on page 29. From the ] Start button menu, select the application you want to scan to using the scanner’s ] Start button. The ] Start icon appears over the selected application.

3.Click the icon for the selected application.

4.Follow the on-screen steps, as if you were going to scan, and set up the default settings for your ] Start button scans.

The next time you press the ] Start button, the scanner automatically scans, using the application you selected.

When copying or printing, make sure your printer is turned on and has the correct paper size and type loaded. You can use Copy and Photo Print only with an EPSON Stylus Color or EPSON Stylus Photo printer.
