Selecting PostScript
Because your printer is set to operate in one of the resident printer modes, you need to change the mode setting through SelecType before you can use the PostScript option.
If you are not familiar with SelecType, see your printer manual. You may also find it helpful to refer to the Quick Reference card (located at the back of the manual) whenever you use SelecType.
First, find the MODE or MODE ASSIGN menu in your SelecType map. (The menu for changing the printer mode is not identical in all printers.) You can change the printer mode to PS from these menus.
