Macintosh
The files for using your printer with your Macintosh computer are included in the disk labeled EPSON PostScript™ Fonts (Macintosh™ Format) Disk 1.
The “LaserWriter” printer driver and “LaserWrinter Prep” convert the printout data to the PostScript format, and the screen font files allow you to see on the screen how fonts look when printed.
Driver installation
1.Open your computer’s hard disk that includes the System Folder.
2.Insert the EPSON PostScript™ Fonts (Macintosh™ Format) Disk 1 in the drive.
3.Copy the “LaserWriter” driver file and “LaserWriter Prep” file to the System Folder.
Important Note: If you are using System 7, use the LaserWriter driver supplied with System 7. (See your Macintosh System 7 user’s manuals for information under “printer driver.“) Do not use the driver provided in this package.
4.If you are using application software from Adobe Systems Inc., you may need to install the ????????.PPD file. Copy the "????????.PPD” file to the folder specified by the application software. The PPD file for your printer is in the folder with your printer’s name. If there is no folder with your printer’s name, use the PPD file that appears in the disk window.
