3.Type WIN3INST and press the ENTER key again. If your Windows is not installed in the C: \ WINDOWS directory, type WIN3INST drive:\path and press the ENTER key. Then the following message appears:
Use this batch file to install the EPSON PS CARD screen fonts and font metric files into your Windows 3.x System subdirectory and WIN. INI file.
This batch file will perform the following operations:
1.Make a backup copy of WIN.INI named WIN_SAVE.INI.
2.Make a working copy of WIN.INI.
3.Run the font installer.
4.Update the WIN.INI file in your Windows directory.
You are expected to supply a path to your Windows subdirectory on the command line. If you do not supply a path. this batch file will use the default Windows directory of C:\WINDOWS and C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.
If you have not supplied a path on the command line and you did not install Windows using the default configuration, please type

4.Press any key to proceed with the installation. Note that if the WIN.INI file does not exist in the directory c:\WINDOWS, the display shows the above screen again. In this case, press Control- C to quit the installation and restart from step 1 after confirming the directory in which you installed Windows.
