Since the new password takes effect after the data is sent to the print server, enter the old password immediately after changing the password.

If you forget your password, you need to initialize the print server. See “Initializing the Print Server” on page 229 for instructions.

Configuring the Print Server Using EpsonNet MacAssist EasySetup

You can also use EpsonNet MacAssist EasySetup to configure the print server for TCP/IP and AppleTalk printing.

Note:

Currently, EPSON printers don’t support TCP/IP printing in a Macintosh environment (except for the EPSON Stylus Photo 2200 and Stylus C82).

Make sure the printer is turned on.

The computer to use for the following steps must be in the same segment as the print server.

When you assign an IP address manually, we recommend you use EpsonNet MacAssist to set the subnet mask and default gateway.

Follow the steps below to configure the print server using EpsonNet MacAssist EasySetup.

1.Double-click the MacAssistxxx folder, and then double-click the EpsonNet MacAssist EasySetup icon.

2.The EpsonNet MacAssist Easy Setup dialog box appears. Click Next.
