Installing the Printer Software from Diskettes

Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT 4.0 Instructions

1.Make sure your printer is connected to the computer and that both are turned off.

2.Turn on your computer, but leave your printer turned off. Do not turn your printer back on until you have completed the software installation. Make sure Windows is running (you should see the Windows Desktop icons).

3.Insert the EPSON Stylus COLOR 640 diskette 1.

4.Click Start, select Run, and type A:\Setup (where A is the drive letter of your diskette drive). Then click OK.

5.Follow the instructions on screen to install the software. Your printer driver software is installed first. Then you will be prompted to install Status Monitor 2.
