3.2.5.3 Removal of Platen

[Step 1] Remove the printer mechanism. (See section 3.2.4)

[Step2]

Remove the paper tension unit.

[Step3]

Remove the C-ring (6) from the plate shaft.

C.B.N.Stite (M3 x 6) screws securing the platen cover and remove the

platen cover.

[Step 5] Remove theshaftholderfrom therightsideofthe side frame.

[Step 6] Remove the platen bymovingit totheright side.
