4.1.2 Paper Feed Motor Backlash Adjustment

This adjustment is required either when the paper feed motor is replaced or when its mounting

position is shifted.

Separate side frames from base frame. (See section 3.2.5.4)

Loose the two

CBS(0)(M3

x 6) screws on the paper feed motor.

3. Manually rotate the paper feed motor, and adjust the backlash between the pinion and the

appear feed reduction gear.

Allowable backlash: 0.05-0.20 mm

Tighten the screws on the paper feed motor.
