Replacing the batteries
wWarning:
Do not mix different types of batteries; this can
cause fire or explosion.
Always use batteries fr om t he same pac ka ge as
a set. Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not use manganese batteries.
When your PhotoPC 750Z batteries wear out, make
sure to replace all four batteries at the same time. You
can replace them with any of the following batteries.
Single-use AA (LR6) alkaline batteries
Single-use AA (FR6) lithium batteries
Rechargeable AA Ni-Cd batteries
Rechargeable AA Ni-MH batteries
Note:
Battery life varies depending on the battery type and
the manufacturer.
If you use rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, replace them
with four fully-charged batteries. If you find that your
batteries run out faster after rechar ging them a number
of times, make sure you discharge th em completely
before recharging.
Handling batteries
wWarning:
Do not expose batteries to rain or moisture.
To guard against short-circuiting, do not
remove the outside sleeves of the b atteries.
If battery acid gets into your eyes or on your
skin, immediately rinse the affe cted area
thoroughly with water and seek medical
treatment. If a battery is swallowe d, s eek
medical treatment immediately.
Keep the batteries from making contact with
metal objects such as coins or keys, which could
short out the batteries' circuits. Do not keep
batteries loose in your pocke ts.
Do not drop, puncture, disassembl e, mutilate,
or short circuit batteries. Do not put the
batteries near or into fire or water.
