Note:
If you do not press any buttons on the camera for 30
seconds, the camera turns itself off automatically to
save battery power. To turn the cam era back on, press
the shutter button.
When taking pictures in panorama mode, you cannot
use the continuous shooting function.
Using the zoom features
There are two ways to enlarge the image,
using the optical zoom (3×) and the digital
zoom (2×). If you use both of them, you can
enlarge image by as much as six times.
Using optical zoom
Toggle the zoom switch on the upper right
of the LCD monitor. The optical zoom can be used at
any time.
Using digital zoom
Follow these steps to use digital zoom.
1. Turn the dial switch on the camera to View.
2. Press the Mode button located on the left of the
LCD monitor until D-ZOOM appears briefly on
the LCD monitor.
3. Press the shutter button.
Note:

When you are taking pictures in digital zoom mode,
you cannot set the camera to continuous shooting
mode.
Using the self timer
Setting the self timer creates a 10-second delay
between the time you press the shutter button
and the moment the actual image is captured,
allowing you to take pictures of yourself. The
timer icon appears on the display panel when
you use the timer. Follow the steps below.
