Windows System Requirements

To use your printer and its software, your system should have:

■A Microsoft Windows compatible PC with a Pentium® 300 MHz or faster.

■Microsoft Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP

■At least 256MB RAM (512MB recommended)

■200MB free hard disk space (300MB or more recommended)

■VGA or better display adapter and monitor

■CD-ROM or DVD drive for installing the printer software

■A Windows-compliant USB port

■A shielded USB “AB” cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long

Macintosh System Requirements

To use your printer and its software, your system should have:

■An Apple® iMacTM series, eMac,TM Power Macintosh® G3, G4, or G5, PowerBook,® or iBook® with a built-in USB port

■Macintosh OS 8.6 through 9.x, OS X 10.2 or higher (Macintosh OS 9.1 or later recommended)

■At least 256MB RAM for OS 8.6 through 9.x (512MB Recommended); 512MB RAM required for OS X

■At least 200MB free hard disk space (300MB or more recommended)

■VGA or better display

■CD-ROM or DVD drive for installing the printer software

■A shielded USB “AB” cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long
